In the historical center of Viterbo

La Suite del Borgo B&B was born of a love that us, Daniela (from Castellammare di Stabia) and Stefano (from Turin) discovered to have for the city of Viterbo, Tuscia and especially the magical and unique medieval quarter of San Pellegrino. Both graduated in Tourism Management, after several working experiences at luxury hotels in Italy such as Sorrento, Rome and abroad like Bruxelles and Seville, animated by a shared passion for the hospitality and the desire to get involved with an own business, we decided to stay in our homecountry that we love, Italy, and moved to the heart of San Pellegrino. By putting into effect what we had learned, we began opening our family home to many people, tourists as well as pilgrims, who have the desire to share their travel experience and sometimes even business travelers, all in a wonderful and family place!

La Suite del Borgo would like to become gradually a travel experience made with love, familiarity, quality, comfort and we want to grow up step by step….that’s why in the last years we opened the Purple Suite, then the Orange Suite and from June 2019 the Silver Suite and from August 2021 Scacciaricci Suite.

The logo we chose, borrowed from the local ceramic laboratory “Artistica” by Cinzia and Daniela, is the “love knot” and even represents a little of our history: this knot was designed to celebrate the Farnese – Orsini marriage. The design stands out for the simplicity of the sign, two lives represented by two lines starting separate coming together and knotted in an eternal bond. The design and the symbolism created for this marriage are often used to represent a relationship of love, friendship, brotherhood or any union marked by this feeling. Laces and ribbons are symbols that ask to be tied to create the union. This is also the feeling we want to convey to our guests.

The B&B is located inside a twelfth-century building in a quiet small square. In the nineteenth century the building housed the ancient Confraternity of St. Ursula, whose image is carved in peperino stone above the entrance door. From the house you can enjoy a beautiful view of the characteristic roofs, the medieval towers and hills of Viterbo.

It is located in the heart of the historical center of Viterbo in the medieval quarter of San Pellegrino, in a privileged position, overlooking Scacciaricci square, famous for its “profferlo” (a type of external staircase) and the presence of 3 impressive towers!

The B&B is characterized by wooden beams, exposed stone walls, antique furniture and ceramic tiles, ideal for soaking up the atmosphere of the neighborhood.

Our guests enjoy many amenities, such as: free wi-fi, LCD TV + DVD player, washing machine, iron and ironing board, crockery, linens and towels, complimentary toiletries with organic products, homemade breakfast (*optional in Green Suite at added cost), fully equipped kitchenette which can be used at no extra charge. We also generously share our personal tips and friendly suggestions for an aperitif or a dinner, a trip outside and much more!

The B&B is a ten-minute walk from the Porta Romana train station, that connects Rome and Viterbo, and five minutes on foot from a large outdoor parking area. There is also a spot available where you can park a bicycle if you bring one or rent one nearby. We also have a private garage (on payment) at 200 meters from the B&B, ideal for motorbikes and mid-size cars.
